14 Days
Written in and about the early days of quarantine. Rita has been in self-isolation from her family for 13 days after returning home from a business trip in Italy. But as the clock ticks closer to day 14, she is tempted to break quarantine early. Featuring some real bops by Andi Lee Carter, with lyrics by Naomi Matlow, this heartfelt comedy examines what kept us sane at the beginning of isolation and the hope of coming together.
Produced for Zoom and pre-recorded, 14 Days premiered as part of “The Insiders,” a collection of musicals commissioned during the NYC COVID-19 Quarantine.
